ClubGRANTS Category 1 Funding Announcement
Content: Applications for funding through ClubGRANTS Category 1 for the year 2024 are now officially open until 5pm Friday 31st May 2024, for organizations within the Goulburn Mulwaree Local Government Area (LGA).

Community organizations within Goulburn and its surrounding districts are invited to apply for financial support to address local community service needs and priorities under the auspices of the ClubGRANTS scheme. This initiative enables Registered Clubs with annual gaming revenue exceeding $1 million to allocate 1.5% of gaming machine revenue toward targeted community development and support initiatives. Both the Goulburn Workers’ Club and Goulburn Soldiers’ Club actively participate in the ClubGRANTS Scheme.
Category 1 Funding: Projects falling within the following categories are eligible for Category 1 funding:
- Community welfare and social services
- Community development
- Community health services
- Employment assistance activities
Furthermore, proposed projects must align with the following priorities within the local district:
- Providing accessible respite options for all segments of the community
- Supporting special needs groups in accessing suitable housing options
- Promoting learning opportunities to enhance living skills and social well-being
- Addressing the social impact of unemployment
- Strengthening community-building capacities within isolated and disadvantaged sectors to foster social interaction
- Ensuring access to services for individuals with dual and complex needs
Applications focusing on programs, projects, and services benefiting people with disabilities, older individuals, non-English speaking communities, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations, women, and young people are particularly encouraged.
