We collect personal information to provide you with services, comply with our regulatory obligations under the Liquor Act 2007, the Registered Clubs Act 1976, and other applicable legislation, and to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

  • Name, address, date of birth, contact details
  • Information captured through the use of membership cards in gaming machines (excluding ATMs) and other loyalty systems
  • CCTV (includes facial recognition) surveillance footage for security and operational purposes
  • Records relating to your participation in Club services, loyalty programs, promotions, and activities
  • Location data (if using a Club app and with consent)

 

Goulburn Soldiers Club App: The Club may collect location data through the Goulburn Soldiers Club mobile app to enhance member rewards and services, even when the app is closed or not in use. Members and guests can opt out of location tracking at any time by adjusting their device settings.

Use of Your Personal Information

  • Your personal information may be used for:
  • Providing and personalising Club services
  • Administering member accounts, loyalty programs, and promotions
  • Regulatory reporting, including to the Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority and other authorities as required
  • Marketing communication about Club services, events, and promotions (with opt-out options available)
  • Management reporting, service development, planning, and risk assessment
  • Maintaining security and safety through CCTV monitoring
  • Investigating any unlawful activity or suspected breaches of Club policies

You may opt-out of receiving promotional communications by adjusting your email preferences or notifying the Club in writing.

Disclosure of Information

  • The Club may disclose your personal information:
  • To legal, accounting, or business advisors for professional services
  • To contractors providing specific functions such as mailing houses, IT service providers, loyalty program administrators, and debt collection agencies

Wherever possible, the Club seeks to work with Australian-based contractors to minimise the risk of overseas disclosures.

Player Activity Statement (PAS)
Members who use their membership card for gaming are entitled to request a Player Activity Statement free of charge.

Accessing and Correcting Your Information
You have the right to access and request correction of your personal information held by the Club. Requests can be made to relevant Club staff or Management, subject to identification verification. Access may be restricted if prohibited by law or if it may pose a risk to the safety of any individual.

Handling of Privacy Breaches
If a privacy breach occurs, the Club will take immediate steps to investigate, notify affected individuals where necessary, and work towards a fair resolution.
